To My Fellow Millennials… Who Feel Like They’re Falling Behind

You’re 39. Or 42.

And LinkedIn? Feels like a war zone.

One scroll and it’s:
“CEO at 35.”
“Board member at Google and a triathlete.”
Meanwhile, you’re sitting there in pajama pants thinking:
“Did I miss a memo… or a lifetime subscription to success?”

You did everything “right.”
Went to school. Got the degrees. Worked hard.
And still… no corner office.
No title.
No driver.
Not even a free lunch.

Here’s what I want you to hear loud and clear:

You are not behind. You’re just in a plot twist.

Maybe you didn’t get handed the C-suite.
Maybe you’re supposed to build your own damn office.
With windows. Plants. And emotional safety.

This is not the time to shrink and binge motivational quotes like snacks.
This is the time to repackage, rebrand, reroute.

Take the course.
Write the book.
Send the email.
Dust off that dream — it’s not expired.

And let’s clear something up:
Networking is not a fashion show.
You don’t need to show up flawless with a TED Talk in your back pocket.
Just be real. Be human. Be helpful.

Say:

“I see you. I get you. I can help.”

That’s magnetic. That’s connection.

Oh—and those C-suite jobs you’re envying?
Some are just burnout in a blazer.
Trust me.

You didn’t miss the boat.
You’re just not meant to sit in economy.
You’re the one flying the thing.

Plot twist or not—your story’s not done. Now go captain your next chapter.

If No One in the Boardroom Feels Uncomfortable, Something Is...

Let’s be honest. Most directors are not incompetent. They are experienced. Intelligent. Accomplished. And yet… Management assumptions sometimes go unchallenged. Babies, Burnout & a Master’s Degree

Let me tell you about the time I thought I was Superwoman.Spoiler alert: I was not. I’m Dr. Change, PhD — I teach people how to grow, lead, and show up with boldness in every room they walk into. But before the degrees, the leadership coaching, and the boardrooms, there was a chapter of my life that tested every ounce of my sanity. During my Master’s, I had two babies…
